Christ Caring for People through People

Stephen Ministry is congregation based. It does not rely on the pastor to provide care for everyone. It does not expect a selected care team to provide all the care needed in the church. It does not segregate caring from the rest of the church’s witness and mission. Caring becomes a part of the fabric of the church, caring becomes a definition of who we are as a faith community, and caring becomes our witness to one another and to the community.

This creates a new environment for the Trinity Church. While it is a friendly church, a church with a heart, a congregation that is responsive to others, a church that seeks to fulfill the demands of the Gospel of Christ, there is more that we can do to care for others in our church and community. The Stephen Ministry program will enable us to become a comprehensive caring congregation.
